Position the strainer over a compatible kitchen sink drain and confirm that it sits securely without excessive movement.

Use Your Sink Normally
Wash produce, rinse dishes and clean up as usual while larger food scraps collect inside the basket.

Lift the Strainer
When debris begins to collect, use the raised center grip to lift the entire basket from the sink.

Tip collected food debris into your trash or compost bin instead of pushing it farther down the sink drain.

Rinse & Replace
Rinse the basket and drainage openings under running water, remove remaining particles and return the strainer to the sink.
