Food Stabilizing Slicing Guide

Hold It Steady. Slice With More Control.

Rolling tomatoes. Slippery onions. Round potatoes that never seem to stay where you put them.

The Selmorio Food Stabilizing Slicing Guide is designed to help stabilize ingredients, guide your slicing motion, reduce unwanted movement and create more separation between your holding hand and the knife path.

There are no built-in cutting blades. The tool acts as a food holder and slicing guide, allowing you to continue using the kitchen knife you already prefer while gaining a steadier setup for round, smooth, slippery or difficult-to-control ingredients.

Selmorio Food Stabilizing Slicing Guide overview
STEADY PREP STARTS HERE

The tool holds. Your knife still does the cutting.

This is not a countertop slicer with hidden blades. It works as a stabilizing and guiding tool around the food, allowing you to use your preferred kitchen knife while gaining a steadier hold and clearer paths for repeated slices.

Zone 01 / Hold Broader Upper Grip

A larger top area gives your hand a more natural place to apply gentle stabilizing pressure.

Zone 02 / Guide Stainless-Steel Paths

Parallel openings create visible routes for positioning your kitchen knife during repeated slicing.

Zone 03 / Base Stable Board Contact

A non-slip lower grip helps reduce unnecessary movement where the tool meets the cutting surface.

WHY STABILITY MATTERS

Sometimes the difficult part is not cutting. It is holding.

A sharp knife can still feel awkward when the ingredient moves before the blade reaches it. This guide focuses on creating a more stable starting point before every cut.

Rolling Food Reduce Side-to-Side Movement

Tomatoes, potatoes, onions, eggs and other rounded foods can shift under direct fingertip pressure. The holding structure helps limit unwanted movement before the knife moves downward.

Slippery Surface Let the Tool Do More of the Holding

Instead of repeatedly repositioning smooth food with your fingertips, maintain a steadier grip through the upper holder.

Repeated Cuts Create a More Predictable Rhythm

Once the ingredient is stabilized, move from guide to guide rather than rebuilding your hand position for each individual slice.

GUIDED SLICING

Give your knife a clearer route through the food.

Integrated guide openings provide visible slicing positions. Choose the opening you want, guide the knife downward and move across the holder as you continue.

Position 01 Select Choose the guide opening for your first cut.
Position 02 Align Position your kitchen knife through the selected path.
Position 03 Slice Use a controlled downward movement through the ingredient.
Position 04 Repeat Move to the next guide position and continue as needed.
Selmorio Food Stabilizing Slicing Guide compared with ordinary freehand slicing
MORE CONTROL. LESS GUESSWORK.

A steadier setup changes the whole cutting motion.

Ordinary freehand slicing asks one hand to stabilize the ingredient while the other controls the knife. This tool separates those jobs more clearly by providing a dedicated holding structure and visible cutting paths.

Food Stability
Slicing Guide Stabilizing structure helps reduce rolling and slipping.
Ordinary Freehand Food may roll or move while being held directly.

Hand Position
Slicing Guide Holding hand remains on the raised upper grip.
Ordinary Freehand Fingers may sit closer to the food and knife path.

Slice Alignment
Slicing Guide Defined openings assist with knife positioning and repeated spacing.
Ordinary Freehand Spacing depends entirely on freehand positioning.
MORE SEPARATION FROM THE CUTTING AREA

Let the holder replace the fingertip pinch.

When slicing small or slippery foods directly, fingers often move close to the cutting path. The raised upper grip allows more of the stabilizing work to happen above the ingredient rather than beside the blade.

Hand Hold From Above

Apply gentle pressure through the broader upper grip instead of pinching the ingredient directly.

Food Stabilize Below

The internal support structure helps limit free movement of round or slippery food across the board.

Knife Slice Through the Guide

Your preferred kitchen knife travels through the selected opening while the other hand remains on the holder.

SIZE, MATERIALS & STRUCTURE

Compact enough for everyday prep. Structured for control.

The tool combines a food-grade ABS body, 304 stainless-steel guides and a non-slip TPR base in a compact upright format designed for common slicing tasks.

BUILT AROUND THREE JOBS

Grip above. Guide through. Stabilize below.

Each main material supports a different part of the preparation motion: structural hand support, knife guidance and stable contact with the cutting surface.

Body Food-Grade ABS

Forms the upper grip and main stabilizing structure around the ingredient.

Guides 304 Stainless Steel

Creates the parallel guide structure used to align your kitchen knife during slicing.

Base Grip Non-Slip TPR

Adds grip beneath the tool to help reduce unwanted movement on a suitable cutting surface.

KEEP THE KNIFE YOU KNOW

The guide assists the motion. It does not replace your knife.

There is no built-in blade system or complicated cutting mechanism to learn. Position the food, stabilize it with the holder and use the kitchen knife you already know through the selected guide path.

Tool 01 The Holder Stabilizes

The ingredient remains supported inside the stabilizing structure.

Tool 02 The Guides Align

Parallel openings provide visible routes for your cutting motion.

Tool 03 Your Knife Cuts

Continue using the kitchen knife you already prefer.

MADE FOR EVERYDAY INGREDIENTS

Especially useful for round, smooth and difficult-to-hold foods.

Use the guide with suitable ingredients that fit securely inside the holder and can be cut safely using a controlled downward motion.

Tomatoes Onions Potatoes Cucumbers Lemons Hard-Boiled Eggs Strawberries Mushrooms Sausages Small Fruits
STABILITY STARTS AT THE BOARD

Control should not stop at the ingredient.

The lower base creates a more stable contact point with the work surface. A steadier foundation supports the holder while your hand controls the upper grip and your knife moves through the selected guide.

Contact Non-Slip Base Grip

TPR contact underneath helps reduce unnecessary tool movement on suitable cutting surfaces.

Pressure Gentle Is Enough

Apply enough upper pressure to stabilize the food without crushing or unnecessarily forcing the ingredient downward.

Alignment Keep the Holder Upright

A straight position helps keep the slicing guides aligned with the downward knife motion.

Surface Use a Stable Cutting Board

Always place the tool on a flat and stable cutting surface before use.

HOW TO USE

Five steps to steadier slicing.

Position the ingredient, stabilize it gently, choose a guide, slice downward and repeat.

Use only with suitable foods that fit securely inside the holder. Keep the tool upright on a stable cutting board and use a controlled downward knife motion.
Step 01
Place the Food

Position a tomato, onion, potato, cucumber or other suitable ingredient inside the holding area. Make sure it sits securely before cutting.

Step 02
Secure It Gently

Hold the upper grip and allow the stabilizing structure to rest against the food. Use only enough pressure to limit unwanted movement. Avoid crushing softer ingredients.

Step 03
Choose Your Slice Position

Align your kitchen knife with one of the slicing-guide openings based on where you want to make the cut.

Step 04
Slice Downward

Use a controlled cutting motion and guide the knife downward through the selected opening. Move to the next guide position and repeat as needed.

Step 05
Remove & Clean

Remove the knife first. Release the holder, remove the sliced food and wash the tool after use. Dry thoroughly before storage.

Use & Safety Note

This product is a food-holding and slicing-assist tool. It does not replace proper kitchen-knife handling.

Always use the tool on a flat, stable cutting board. Keep your holding hand on the designated upper grip and away from the knife blade and cutting path. Use slow, controlled movements and do not force the knife through frozen, excessively hard or unsuitable ingredients. Keep the tool and knives out of reach of children.
